Meeting and Study Rooms

The Central Mississippi Regional Library systemoffers meeting and multipurpose rooms for educational, cultural, and informational gathreings of local interest. These spaces are available to the public on an equitable, first-come, first-serve basis, with library programs and staff events receiving priority. Rooms may be rserved up to three months in advance and must be used for open, public meetings. Groups are responsible for their own room setup, bringing in their own materials if needed, and ensuring the space is left in the same condition in which it was found. Library equipment may be requested in advanced, and users are responsible for complying with all applicable rules, including attendance limits and supervision requirements for minors. 

All reservations must follow the library’s meeting room guidelines, which ensure that the space is used safely and fairly. Public for any event must not imply library sponsorship, adminssion fees are not allowed, and no selling or commercial activity may take place. Food may be served only where facilities allow, and alcoholic beverages are prohibite. Users are financially responsible for any damage and must conclude meetings within the library’s operating unless otherwise permitted. Use of the meting rooms does not imply library endorsement, and the library reserves the right to relocate groups or deny future use if policies are not followed. Individual and small study groups may use rooms when available, but community groups are given priority.
