Each year, young readers across Mississippi are invited to participate in the Magnolia Book Awards by voting for their favorite books in four age categories. This annual event celebrates current literature and encourages a lifelong love of reding among children and teens.<\/p>\n

Who Can Vote?<\/h3>\n

All Mississippi students from Pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to nominate and vote for their favorite titles. Voting takes place each February, and the winners are announced in April during the Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival, held at the University of Southern Mississippi.<\/p>\n
